Behavioral Health Urgent Care Center

The Behavioral Health Urgent Care Center provides same-day support for mental health and substance use concerns. Located on the campus of Luminis Health Anne Arundel Medical Center, the clinic offers short-term urgent care in a safe, supportive setting.

During a visit, the team will assess the individual’s needs, provide appropriate interventions, and develop a person-centered plan for continued care. Services may include psychiatric assessment, medication evaluation or initiation, substance use treatment support, coordination of medical concerns, and connection to ongoing behavioral health or community-based services.

When appropriate, individuals who need continued outpatient treatment may be connected with Arundel Lodge’s Outpatient Mental Health Clinic or another appropriate provider.

What to Expect

When you arrive, you will complete registration and meet with a clinical team member for an assessment. Based on your needs, you may receive therapeutic support, medication evaluation, care coordination, and referrals for ongoing services.

Before you leave, the team will review your next steps and create an aftercare plan to help connect you with the right level of continued care.
